What is the Iowa Wild Wings?
The Iowa Wild Wings started as an 8U AAU hockey team that supplements USA Hockey half-ice programs by providing full-ice competition opportunities. We focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a competitive, travel-based setting.

How much will a friendly cost?
We are asking participating teams for a $400 fee to help cover ice rentals.
Travel & equipment fees are the responsibility of the individual families.

How does this program differ from my child’s USA Hockey team?
This program is an additional experience designed to complement, not replace, your child’s current USA Hockey team.

What happens if my child can’t play in a tournament?
Tournament fees are non-refundable after a roster commitment has been made unless the team secures a sponsorship that covers the cost.

What happens if a player or parent violates the Code of Conduct?
Violations will be addressed by the coaching staff and team management. Consequences may include reduced playing time, suspension, or dismissal from the team, depending on the severity of the infraction.
